Light output is important part for your headlight as this will allow you to see clearly during evening driving and make the roads safer. Over time the headlight coating that is applied from factory breaks down due to oxidation from the sun UV rays.
This can then lead to an MOT Failure which will mean you need to replace the headlight unit which can cost a few £1000 depending on the unit itself.

Headlight Restoration starts off with masking up the surrounding area to protect the paint from sanding marks and polishing.
Then the headlight itself will under go sanding of 5 different stages gradually getting finer till the last stager of sanding.
These sanding marks and then removed by machine polishing leaving a clear factory finish that will then be panel wiped.
Once wiped down they will be re sealed with a coating to aid against the UV rays and give it some protection from oxidisation.
